Soul Food at Sweetie Pies in Noho

I would always walk by Sweeties Pies and tell myself I'm going to try it. Welp the day finally came to try some yummy soul food. 

Here's a tip if you're in a rush don't visit it's not a fast food establishment. I've seen the long lines, thankfully I didn't have to wait. 

Looking on their menu I seen Mac balls which I've never heard of Mac-balls but it's basically fried Mac & cheese it was so good. I haven't had fried chicken in over 5 years. The chicken was pretty finger looking good. I didn't care so much about the cornbread the moist texture was a bit weird to me. 

The lemonade was so delicious I have to say the best lemonade I've had in LA.

My waitress, Laneisha, was amazing. She was friendly, engaging and very attentive. 

I'll definitely be back to visit!
